Jointly organised by CPPS, ASLI and co-organised by SUHAKAM, this eventdeals with the problem of urban poverty in Malaysia. We aim to provide participants with a clear picture of the state of poverty in urban Malaysia,an understanding of the issues that are corollary to this problem, and knowledge of the steps that are being taken to reduce urban poverty levels by state and federal governments. Join us as we examine this problem with various experts, policy makers, and activists, who will share their
viewpoints and engage in conversation with each other.
