PERMAS is respectfully inviting URBAN POOR community representatives from different parts of Kuala Lumpur city to a dialogue and meeting to exchange concerns and also to try and identify a common platform and strategy of action. This meeting is organized with the aim to gather urban pioneers (squatters) communities, longhouse settlements and low cost flats in Kuala Lumpur city area to focus especially on the current KL Plan which is being studied by the public and to be approved by the Federal Government by August 31st 2008.

We hope that by the end of this meeting the 20 invited FT urban poor communities can collectively agree to a list of demands which will be presented to the FT Ministry, DBKL and to all the elected MP’s of the constituencies in Kuala Lumpur during a dialogue to be arrange at a later date.
