Dear friends in Malaysian NGOs
Hope this arrives to find you well.
On March 29-30, a group of young Malaysian students in the US gathered in Harvard University for a two day event - “The Northeast Malaysia Forum 2008″, a non-partisan and non-profit event that seeks to promote discussion of affairs affecting civil society in Malaysia.
Speakers from NGOs (familiar features like Zainah Anwar and Malik Imtiaz), academic, professionals were brought to have conversations in this special event after the March 8th political Tsunami in Malaysia.
These Malaysian students who are currently living abroad have never felt so Excited about bringing CHANGE in their homeland: - they are eager to come home and join the force of Malaysians to bring about better tomorrow for the society…
With this, the Tin Kosong team (see http://tinkosong.com, a website dedicated to collecting and distributing first-hand information about educational opportunities, both in and out of Malaysia; the members are also the main movers of the Northeast Malaysia Forum) would like to turn their wishes into actions, calling for NGOs to provide a platform for all young, passionate, dynamic Malaysians from various backgrounds to make a change.
Please provide details of the internship programme in your organisation as below:
1. Name of organisation
2. Contact details (address, telephone number, contact person, website, email address …)
3. Duration of internship/programme (summer is perfect for students studying abroad)
4. Special requirements (if any)
The Tin Kosong team will then put up these information on their website and they will also disseminate these information to various student networks, both in and out of Malaysia.
You may kindly contact Jing Pei at jingpei84@yahoo.com or +6012-5546008 for further enquiries or clarification.
Thank you and we are looking forward to hearing from you.
Best wishes,
Jing Pei
on behalf of Tin Kosong
