Pusat Komas is happy to announce the organizing of the 2nd Training-of- trainers on Popular Education in Human Rights Education. The first training was successfully done in Kula Lumpur last year July. The purpose of this training is to increase the capacity of human rights educators in Malaysia to reach target audiences through popular media and popular
education techniques. The participants will be learning important skills on how to educate people on Human Rights using popular education methodologies. Participatory & creative group dynamics; games and popular media approach will be used in the training.
Objectives:
• To train and equip community representative and leaders who trainers to be more effective HR educators
• To develop a pool of trainers who are capable of using popular media and popular education techniques in promoting Human Rights.
