Selepas pilihanraya kita semua tahu , harga petrol akan naik. Bila harga petrol naik, harga semua barangan pun akan naik.

Pada masa kini , Malaysia Institute of Economic Research (MIER) mencadangkan kerajaan naik harga petrol sebanyak 80 sen .

Inilah yang paling baik katanya . Bayangkan kalau harga petrol naik 80sen. Apakan akan jadi kepada harga barangan lain? Bolehkan kita mampu guna kereta lagi ? Fikirkan.

SEDARLAH RAKYAT MALAYSIA! KERAJAAN BARISAN NASIONAL INI TERUS MEMBOLOS HAK RAKYAT MALAYSIA DAN TERUS MENJADIKAN RAKYAT MALAYSIA PAPA KEDANA!

MAKA DEMI MEMBANTAH RANCANGAN KERAJAAN INI UNTUK MENAIKKAN HARGA PETROL SELEPAS PILIHANRAYA, KITA TURUN UNTUK MEMBANTAH APA JUA KENAIKAN HARGA PETROL . TURUNLAH BERAMAI-RAMAI UNTUK MENUNJUKKAN KUASA RAKYAT DAN MEMBERITAHU KERAJAAN INI, YANG DIA TIDAK BOLEH MENAIKKAN HARGA PETROL SESUKA HATINYA ! TUNJUKKAN RAKYAT AKAN BANTAH !

The Government should not increase the fuel price since the ringgit has been appreciating against the US$ which is used to price the oil market.

The rise in oil prices on the international market is a result of the US$ dollar weakening, speculation and politics.

The actual price of oil should be US$ 65 per barrel and not US$ 100 per barrel. That means, the extra US$ 35 is due to speculation.

The Government claims it is subsidising oil heavily and can no longer afford to do so. The subsidy the Government claims is not cash from the Government but taxes forgone.

In the west, several studies conducted shows that only 20 per cent of the oil price at the pump is due to OPEC. The other 80 per cent goes to western governments in the form of taxes and the oil companies.

The Government should not increase the fuel price since the ringgit has been steadily rising against the US$ which is used to price oil.
Given the strengthening of the ringgit vis-a-vis the UD$, the fuel price should in fact be reduced by at least 15 sen per litre. This will have a spin-off effect including puttng a damper on inflation levels.

The world fuel price should actually be US$ 65 per barrel and not US$ 100 as at present. The other US$ 35 is because of speculation, politics and the weakening of the US$.

Several studies in the US also show that OPEC is responsible for only 20 per cent of the fuel price at the pump. The other 80 per cent goes to governments in the form of various taxes and to oil companies.

Hence, when the Malaysian Government says it’s subsidising fuel oil heavily, it does not mean it’s doling out cash. What the government means by subsidies is revenue lost in taxation.

wow..you have a point..but on the other hand ur forgetting one point. 35% GDP negara datang dari PETRONAS. Duit tu la yg kerajaan guan tuk pendidikan, pertahanan, tuk bayar sokolah2 yg dah free, perubatan, bina jalan raya….kalo kita tgk di malaysia, betapa byknye kreta di jalan raya. ORang2 di subang tmpt saya tinggal, ada 5 kadang2 6 biji kreta…Jelas yg kalo ada subsidi, orang2 kaya yg untung…!! bukannye majoriti rakyat yg miskin…sedarla..jgn pandai kritik sameta2 ….kita nak jadi macam negara barat..tapi negara barat ahrga minyak berubah ubah setiap hari…kerajaan tak tanggung subsidi…british pengeluar minyak jugak, tapi harga di stesen minyak di sana ikut pasaran semasa. US ada minyak jugak…tapi ikut harga semasa…kita yg sangat murah pun nak bising…..!!!
