Sending Memorandum to Indonesian Embassy
With much pleasure, we would like to inform that Gerakan Mansuhkan ISA (GMI) will be handing over Memorandum to Indonesia High Commission together with detainee’s wife Siti Norma Ismail and demanding intervention from Indonesian Government.
Abdullah Minyak Silam was arrested under ISA on 14th January 2002 under accusation of Jemaah Islamiyah (JI). On 9th March 2002, he was send to Kamunting Detention Camp. Abdullah Minyak Silam originally from Indonesia and married to Siti Norma Ismail and became permanent resident of Malaysia. However his citizenship as a Malaysian has been withdraw by the Malaysian government after he has been arrested under ISA.
