Suara Rakyat Malaysia (SUARAM), a non-governmental and non-profit organization based in Petaling Jaya and working to protect and promote human rights, is looking for committed and energetic candidate to fill the position of coordinator for the program on the protection of refugees.
Scope of Job
- to provide human rights support and assistance to refugee
- to organize capacity building program for refugees
- to coordinate campaigns for a better legal protection for refugees
- to conduct public education on the issues of refugees
Required Skills
- Good understanding of refugee issues
- Committed to human rights work
- Good inter-personal communication skills
- Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Experience in conducting training would be a plus
- Able to work independently and in a team effectively
