Amnesty International (AI) is a global human rights organization. Its Malaysian office needs a Director to lead its plans for growth in membership, campaigns, fundraising and public relations.You will be the focal point with members, supporters, volunteers, NGOs and the media. You will manage the office and represent AI Malaysia to NGOs, government agencies and the media.
You must be a Malaysian citizen and have a sound working knowledge of and commitment to human rights and good understanding of the political and social environment in Malaysia and globally. Experience of voluntary or membership-based organizations is essential.
You must have excellent communication skills, be fluent in spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia.
The post is based in Petaling Jaya; is a two year contract; offers a monthly salary starting from RM3500 onwards.
