Dear Friends of NGO, Community Groups and Political Parties
2 weeks back, just minutes before the clock in Washington strike 12 that is
minutes before the fast track authority ended on 1 April 2007, the US-Korean
FTA was signed. This was done despite, hundreds and thousands of Korean
people protested to oppose the US-Korea FTA.
The Korean government did not take into consideration the plight and concern
of its citizens and bowed to the pressure of the American power. This will
be the same situation Malaysians will face when the US wants to complete the
FTA agreement with us.
Thus, to show our solidarity to the Korean Anti FTA coalition which is
continuing its opposition ot the FTA with protests and night vigils and also
to expose the kind of issues and pressure Malaysians will face in signing
the FTA a protest is being organised by the coalition. Details of the
protest is as follows:

*Place : South Korean Embassy, No. 9 and 11 Jalan Nipah, Off Jalan Ampang,
Kuala Lumpur.*
This protest is also held to show our continous protest to the MAlaysian
government which is going to US next week to further discuss on the FTA.
Plse come and show your protest towards the US-Malaysia FTA . Every protest
is crucial to safeguard the interest of the Malaysian people.
