Training on Education forNon-Discrimination
OBJECTIVES:
· To raise awareness on the effects of discriminations of race and other related discrimination amongst the general public
· To provide an education tool for local community workers, leaders & grassroot communities due to racist and discriminatory policies and practices that exist and have been implemented.

TRAINING DETAILS
Date : 14 April 2007, Saturday (8am check in) to15 April 2007. Sunday (5 pm check out)
Venue : Seri Malaysia Hotel, Jln Langkasuka, Larkin, Johor.
Target group :25 participants from NGOs, Academia, Local Communities, Politicians who will be interested to do follow up training on your own with collaboration with Komas in the future
Fee : All cost by participants will be cover by organizers
Facilitators : Jerald Joseph (Pusat Komas)
Medium : Bahasa Malaysia and English
Among topics to be discussed are:
-Historical development of race relations in Malaysia, Standards on non-discrimination: Malaysian constitution, International standards:
-How we can promote human rights education on non-discrimination
