Suara Rakyat Malaysia (SUARAM), a non-governmental and non-profit organization based in Petaling Jaya and working to protect and promote human rights, is looking for committed and energetic candidate to fill the position of outreach coordinator.
Scope of Job
- to organize events generating public interest in human rights issues
- to recruit and coordinate volunteers in helping the work of the organization
- to organize fund raising events for human rights work
Required Skills
Interested in human rights work
Good inter-personal communication skills
Good event organizing skills
Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin would be a plus
Experience in fund raising would be advantage
Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Able to work independently and in a team effectively
