* 8.20pm
It seems lights have been brought into the kampung to facilitate further work during the night. Many villagers are moving their things out of the kampung, but some may still stay the night there.
As of yet, the arrestees have yet to be released.
There will be no updates for a few hours, but we will try to get more info in soon.
* 6.10pm
There are reports that a new batch of police officers are now going around threatening to arrest villagers and activists (waving handcuffs, etc).
This is a disproportionate show of force and intimidation. Some of the activists have lodged a report to Bukit Aman, we urge you to do the same.
Please call Bukit Aman Police Headquarters at 03-2262-6222, and ask for the Bilik Gerakan. It seems the officer in charge of this situation there is ASP Shukri. Please call him and state your protest at this high-handed attitude of the police against homeless villagers with no shelter and no place to go.

The surau was demolished by noon.
By about mid-afternoon, all remaining structures were completely crushed.
MPAJ is planning to destroy all 3 access roads into the kampung, effectively cutting that area off from civilisation.
All 11 people who were arrested are still being held by the police.
Links to pictures and videos coming very soon.
This is so outrageious and inhumane !
These decent folks are just asking to have a roof over their heads; is that too much to ask for???
Go to hell with all these heartless , inhumane animals!
