We would like to invite committee members of Residents’ Associations /Rukun Tetangga / NGOs in Klang Valley to a discussion to
• collect your suggestions and recommendations on local council reform
• what you want local council reforms to be
in the areas of decision making, citizens’ participation, transparency, accountability and monitoring.
These recommendations will be submitted to the Prime Minister’s Department, Members of Parliament and the local governments. They will be lobbied to implement these recommendations on local government as part of the Ninth Malaysia Plan.
Please register your attendance. Admission is free.
